Key goals

Our sustainability goals are based, where possible, on the latest science, best practice and knowledge. Collaboration is key and working together will help us achieve these ambitions faster than we could alone. Below is a list of some of our goals and our progress. Climate

  • 2030: Reduce absolute scope 1, 2 and 3 CO2e emissions by 56% against a 2019 baseline.*
    Progress 2023: 24 % reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions and 22% reduction in scope 3 emissions.
  • 2040: Become net-zero.*

* Both goals have been verified by the Science Based Targets Initiative.

Materials and resources

  • 2025: 30% of materials sourced for commercial goods to be certified recycled.
    Progress 2023: 25%.
  • 2030: 100% of materials sourced for commercial goods to be either recycled or sustainably sourced.
    Progress 2023: 85%.

Packaging

  • 2025: 25% reduction in plastic packaging against a 2018 baseline.
    Progress 2023: 55%.
  • 2030: Make 100% of packaging from recycled or sustainably sourced materials, with a preference for post-consumer recycled materials.
    Progress 2023: 79%.

Chemicals

  • 2030: 100% of supplier factories are compliant with ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List.
    Progress 2023: 97%.

Water

  • 2025: Reduce absolute total freshwater use by 10 % against a 2022 baseline.
    Progress 2023: 14%

Fair and equal

  • Annual increase in % of supervisors in our tier 1 production supply chain that are female.
    Progress: 2023 – 27%, 2022 – 27%, 2021 – 28%, 2020 – 24%.
  • Annual increase in % of worker representatives in our tier 1 production supply chain that are female.
    Progress: 2023 – 63%, 2022 – 63%, 2021 – 62%, 2020 – 59%.
