Monki launches sustainable swimwear

This spring, Monki is launching its very first sustainable swimwear collection. Made with recycled polyester and recycled polyamide, the materials come from PET bottles and production waste fibres. This marks another step towards the brand’s 2030 sustainability goal to only source recycled or other more sustainable materials.

‘We are always trying to find more sustainable ways of doing fashion,’ says Managing Director Jennie Dahlin Hansson. ‘It feels good to now offer swimwear made from recycled materials.’

The SS19 swim collection carries retro vibes with off the shoulder frills, shirring, cut out details and high-legged briefs. Leopard print, citrus fruit and golden beige hues kick off the collection that also features pops of red, green and bold prints. With a sporty edge, the line-up is ready to be styled however you like – for the beach, pool, backyard or any insta-worthy moment.

Get ready to take a dip; the collection will make a splash instore and online throughout spring.
