Together we are unique – back to school at H&M
This autumn it’s all about patterns, prints and colours at H&M Kids and Young department. There are lots of cool sweaters, T-shirts, dresses and tunics that can be teamed with denim pieces of all kinds – comfortable gear to wear when hanging out with your friends, both in school and outside.
‘Function and comfort are particularly important for kids, but fashion and trends are important too. At the moment it’s fun to mix and match stripes, checks, florals and polka dots in bright colours or neutrals,’ says H&M’s head of design Margareta van den Bosch.
FOR GIRLS
There are pretty patterned dresses and cotton tunics in a colour spectrum ranging from black and grey to fuchsia, olive-green, red and taupe. Plain or patterned hoodies, V-necks and cardigans are available to match, plus printed or striped T-shirts. Jeans are classic blue or black, or plum, powder pink or grey. In addition, there are leggings and denim skirts in a range of colours.
FOR BOYS
There are plenty of patterns in the boys’ collection too. Like hoodies with stripes, checks or abstract patterns. A baseball jacket is the ultimate outer garment, and a classic cardigan works as a contrast. T-shirts are striped, plain or printed on the front, and shirts are short-sleeved. Jeans come in all styles and are complemented by worker pants in black, khaki, grey or checks.
