Updated classics in H&M’s tailored collection for men

Autumn 2003 saw the launch of H&M’s tailoring collection H&M Man. The Menswear range with a perfect fit and finish was an instant success. Fine wool, cotton and linen fabrics for tailored pieces, pure cotton poplin or twill for shirts, pure silk ties and soft merino wool for knitwear. All in both classic shades and the season’s latest colours.

Now H&M present the tailored menswear collection for 2004 in succession. This season’s campaign model is David James, England?s football goalkeeper. He models a collection that continues its focus on quality and fit. A new fabric introduced this season in tailoring in flannel. Fine knits are in warm autumnal colours such as lavender, camel and brown and accent colours are wine and fuchsia.

The wool suits are available in black, blue or grey, with chalkstripes or plain. Outerwear consists of narrow-cut wool coats with simple fastenings and narrow lapels. Cotton shirts are plain, checked or striped, with numerous colour combinations. Ties are in classic colours or patterns or in a new bright palette of accent colours.

Cardigans have been included in the knitwear range of V-neck, round-neck and Polo-neck sweaters. Finally, there are the accessories: silk handkerchiefs, scarves, gloves, belts and cuff links.
